Radiography
One of the most useful tools veterinarians have at their disposal is the use of radiographic technology. Big Love Pet Vet uses computed radiography to gather more information about different parts of your pet’s body that we can’t easily see or feel. Animals are unable to tell us exactly where they hurt, so computed radiography helps us identify the problem areas and set us on a course to treat and cure the issues plaguing our pets.
Big Love Pet Vet uses computed radiography as a diagnostic tool as well as guidance for surgery. If your pet has an emergency visit, he or she may receive an x-ray as a starting point to identify the problem. Radiography can help identify fractures, locate foreign bodies, discover masses or tumors, measure organ size, diagnose pneumonia as well as pregnancy.
Having this service onboard enables us to provide better animal care because it gives us the tools to make an accurate diagnosis and start the appropriate treatment as soon as possible
